We are celebrating a century of Hawaiian Fashion that is unique in every way, and became world famous thanks to the talented designers that created it.
In response to numerous requests from our loyal clientele, we have begun the process of recreating our popular store online. The finest antique aloha wear dates back as far as the nineteen thirties through the sixties. They are considered to be the 'Glory Days' of the Hawaiian shirt.

Retro/Repro Aloha Shirts
Thanks to present Hawaiian Shirt Companies the classic designs from the golden days are still being reproduced. Those original designs with their beautiful border prints have proven to be timeless.

Antique Holomus & Pakemu Dresses

The first Hawaiian dress was the Muu-muu, a loose fitting dress that was introduced to the Hawaiian women in the early 1800's by the missionaries. It was in the 1900's that the Pake-muu, the Holomu and the Holoku were born. The Pakemu was an Oriental inspired dress with long wing like sleeves and a split in the bottom. The Holomu with its ruffled collar was the forerunner of the Holoku, the formal full length dress of the fifties.

include most of the styles that were popular in Hawaiian fashion history. Favorite dress designs that are still being reproduced are the sarong dress, the sun dress and the spaghetti strap dress. The old time floral prints have withstood the test of time. They are still our favorites and they continue to dominate Hawaiian Retro Repro Fashion.
